How a Sparty Night Works
Four steps from choosing a date to the first soak.
Pick the bath and the day
Weekday, weekend and peak days are priced differently. Choose a date in the live calendar and the ticket type: locker, private cabin, fast track or a morning ticket.
Get your e-ticket
Confirmation and a mobile voucher arrive by email straight away. The voucher says where to exchange it at the bath; online tickets usually skip the walk-in queue.
Wristband, locker, pools
Your wristband opens a locker or cabin. Bring a towel, slippers (compulsory) and a swim cap if you plan to use a swimming pool.
Stay as long as you like
A day ticket is valid until closing. Ticket sales end an hour before closing time and the pools empty 20 minutes before it.

Is Sparty Right for You?
If you want a party, book the Sparty ticket for a Saturday. The basic ticket with a locker was $82 on dates we checked in late October 2026, and the premium option, which adds drink coupons, was $112. The ticket is non-refundable, so choose your Saturday before you pay. If you only want warm water late at night without a DJ, Rudas night bathing or a Friday evening at Széchenyi will suit you better. Our Sparty review →
What a Sparty night is like
Sparty takes over the outdoor pools at Széchenyi on Saturday nights from 21:30 to 02:00. There is a DJ, projections across the yellow facade, lasers, dancers in costume and a fire show that one October reviewer called brilliant. Reviewers describe a well-run night with a great atmosphere and plenty of people, and the water is warm (the listing says around 34-38 °C). Only the two outdoor pools are used. The indoor thermal pools, saunas and the rest of the daytime bath are not part of the night, so treat it as a party in the water.
The rules at the door
You must be 18 or over, and you need a passport, ID card or driving license to prove it. Swimwear and slippers are compulsory; slippers can be bought at check-in, but bring a towel because it is not included. Sports wear is not allowed in the pools, there is no nudity, and costumes stay out of the water. Outside food, drink and glass are not allowed, and neither is jumping or diving. Losing your wristband costs 3,000 HUF. Last entry is at 1:00.
Paying at the bars
This is the bit that surprises people. The bars take only SpartyPay cards, not bank cards. The first top-up is 20,000 HUF, which includes a 3,000 HUF card deposit, and you top up with cash at the event. Drinks come in reusable cups that cost 700 HUF each, with 350 HUF back when you return one (up to four cups per card). One October 2026 reviewer put cocktails at about 6,300 HUF and spirits with juice at about 5,500 HUF, and found that the premium ticket’s two drink coupons covered one cocktail. Bring cash.
That makes the ticket choice simple. The premium ticket costs $30 more than the basic one and its extra is the drink coupons, which do not include the reusable cups. Most people will do fine with the basic ticket, its locker and a card top-up, and can spend the difference at the bar.
When Sparty runs
Sparty is a Saturday event. The organizer’s FAQ gives the season as February to December, and a third-party guide says there are no parties in January, so do not plan a January trip around it. The organizer’s booking page listed Saturdays on 24 and 31 October and 7 and 14 November 2026 when we checked; December dates had not been confirmed, so check the calendar before you build a weekend around a winter party. For other late-night options, see Budapest thermal baths at night.
Getting there and home
The party is at Széchenyi in City Park, Állatkerti körút 9-11. The M1 metro stop Széchenyi fürdő is the main way in, and tram 1 and trolleybus 72 also serve the bath. You make your own way there; the ticket has no meeting point beyond the bath itself. On the way home, agree a taxi price before you get in. One reviewer was quoted €70 by a taxi waiting at the door for a ride that had cost €10 on the way there.
If Sparty is not for you
Rudas runs night bathing on Fridays and Saturdays from 22:00 to 03:00, a later and calmer night in the historic bath. It costs 15,000 HUF and is sold online only through the bath’s own site, not on GetYourGuide; see Rudas tickets for the rest of the Rudas options. At Széchenyi itself, the bath stays open until 22:00 on Fridays, and the Széchenyi day ticket has a Friday evening option for exactly that. For a small-group evening with a drink in hand, the Széchenyi-area beer spa gives you a 45-minute private wooden tub with unlimited draft beer for $101, or $157 with a full-day Széchenyi ticket, rated 4.4 from 94 reviews. What Partygoers Say About Sparty
Ratings and review counts are the ticket sellers' live figures on GetYourGuide and may shift slightly day to day.
"Amazing party scene at the hot baths. What an incredible way to enjoy the experience!"

"The music and lights were fab, the heat off the pool was fantastic too. I thought it was a good set up. You do need cash and most of the cocktails are 6300 and the spirits and juice were around 5500. The 2 vouchers equated to 1 cocktail, we recommend summer breeze. Changing rooms were good too, plenty of space. The fire show was brilliant, it rained a little when we were there and it just looked fantastic against the lights. It had a great vibe too, pretty chilled so it was good. The pool goes up to around your shoulders so felt hard to dance so best stick around the stairs if you wanted to dance."

"An incredible evening. It was a dream for me, and I wasn't disappointed. There were a lot of men, though, which was quite off-putting for that reason. They were hanging around."
"A unique place to party with well-organized entertainment!"
"staff were very friendly. absolutely worth the money with the amount of alcohol available. the audio commentary was the icing on the cake. perfect way to start the night."

"The experience is spectacular. There are a lot of people, but everything is well organized: going through security, the changing rooms, the shows that appear, the light and fire show... everything is very good! And a great atmosphere! The only thing to watch out for is the taxis that are at the door at the end of the party. We asked the price for the return trip to the hotel, and they asked us for €70, when we had paid €10 on the way there... the solution is to request an Uber or Bolt; it seems they are fake taxis!! Otherwise, a great party!"

"It was a great experience, perfect DJ and highly recommended lots of fun"
"Very funny, not too loud, very well executed entertainment. I won't spoil it! I recommend it! The drinks are very expensive though..."
