About This Experience

This package pairs a massage for one person with 4 hours of bath entry at Mandala Day Spa. The title sets the massage at 60 minutes and you choose the treatment. The operator describes its body rituals as drawing on holistic techniques from around the world, performed with selected materials. A towel, slippers and robe are included, and the operator’s own advice is to bring only swimwear. GetYourGuide labels the booking as private for your group of up to 4 people and shows a total time of 1 to 5 hours, depending on how long you stay. Cancel up to 24 hours ahead for a full refund.

Mandala is an oriental-styled day spa of about 1,500 m² at Ipoly utca 8, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. Its bath has four pools at different temperatures and a jacuzzi for 10 people, plus an 8-person steam cabin, a 12-person Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna. Between soaks you can lie on teahouse beds by candlelight, with herbal tea, cold drinks and fresh fruit nearby and a snack bar on site. Food is not part of this package, and neither is the zero-gravity massage chair that the spa’s pool-pass packages include. One reviewer described the pools as running from a freezing plunge pool to a hot pool.

The reviews concentrate on the massage itself. Guests describe skilled, attentive therapists, one named hers, and several say the massage was easily worth the cost. Others liked that the facilities were not crowded and that the bar lets you order a drink and settle up when you leave. One guest called it the best way to start the day. The softer points are minor: one visitor found the treatment rooms brighter than at other spas, though the massage was excellent, and mentioned a mix-up on arrival that staff handled well despite some language barrier. A few wished they could have stayed all day.

Choose this if the massage is the main event and you want the bath as a long warm-up and cool-down. On dates we checked in late October 2026 it cost about $146 per person, and the listing holds a 4.7 rating from 88 reviews. Because the robe, towel and slippers are included, it works for travelers coming straight from sightseeing with only a swimsuit. It is not for children under 12. Couples who want to be massaged together should look at Mandala’s couples package, and anyone who only wants the pools can spend less on the 3-hour pass. See the other options on our Budapest baths with massage page.

The whole experience was fabulous. The massage was excellent and more than well worth the cost. The actual spa though is really nice. 4 pools ranging from a freezing plunge pool to a hot pool and the largest jacuzzi I have ever seen. There is a relaxing bar inside where you can buy a drink if you want one (you pay when you leave). I would definitely recommend this spa and would go afain

Frequently Asked Questions

Which massage can I choose?

The listing says the package includes your choice of massage for one person, and the title sets it at 60 minutes. It does not list the menu of treatments, so confirm the options with the spa when you book. Mandala describes its massages as body rituals that draw on holistic techniques from around the world.

How long can I use the pools and saunas?

The package includes 4 hours of bath entry, and GetYourGuide shows a total time of 1 to 5 hours. That covers the four pools, the 10-person jacuzzi, the steam cabin and the Finnish and infrared saunas. Mandala is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00, so plan your arrival to fit the full 4 hours before closing.

Do I need to bring a towel or robe?

No. A towel, slippers and a bathrobe are included, and the operator says to bring only swimwear. Swimsuits are not provided, so pack your own. Food and drinks from the bar are extra; reviewers say you order what you want and pay when you leave.

Can two of us book this together?

Yes. GetYourGuide shows it as a private booking for groups of up to 4, but each massage is for one person, so each of you needs a place. If you want to be massaged side by side and share a private jacuzzi, read our review of the Mandala couples package.

How is this different from the Mandala pool pass?

The pool pass gives 3 hours in the bath with optional champagne, robe, massage chair or lunch, but no hands-on massage. This package adds a 60-minute massage and an extra hour of bath time, with towel, slippers and robe included. Read our Mandala pool pass review to compare.
